In a sensational incident in the US, 364 prisoners hacked the jail software and stole $ 225,000 (about 1,54,40,625 rupees) from there. Not only this, the first of these 50 prisoners put one thousand dollars in their account while the remaining prisoners got $ 9990.
During the time, the jail authorities came to know of the incident and these prisoners were recovered from 65 thousand dollars (44 lakh rupees). However, the jail administration failed to find out how this incident was executed.
Idaho’s Jail Department spokesman Jeff Ray told that the prisoners hacked a system called Jepe and took out the incident. A private firm named JP had given prisoners a device like a mobile phone. With the help of this, it was facilitated to transfer money, download games and music and interact with the family.
The company claimed that it helps prisoners to keep their conduct correct. However, the company has now stopped access to money transfer, music and games in this device.
