Almost all of us today are walking knowledge banks, thanks to the quick possibility of information by Google’s search engines. A vigorous combo of one finger and one click is all it take to rain with any and every information you find. And the experience is getting better with the time.
Thanks to AI, Google search results are now smart.
In 2015, Bloomberg reported that Google has begun to start a deep learning system (or an estimated deep neural network of neurons in the human brain) called Rankbrain, which helps in generating a response to the search queries. Previously, Google’s search engine was driven by algorithms which automatically responded to each query, but they followed a set of definite rules. These algorithms did not learn on themselves and were therefore restricted, but after the incorporation of AI, it seems that this is the way to move forward.
Here are some examples that will enforce you to give a acclamation to Google and the team.
Do you know that Google search engine has proven to be a savior for anyone?
The story became viral and everyone praised for Google.
A frustrated girl wanted to end her life.
According to the sources and viral news, the 24-year-old girl was going through a break-up and was so disappointed and she decided to end her life.
She searched ways to commit suicide on Google search engine.
And there was a blessing in camouflage search results.
Rather than returning suicidal methods, Google responded to suicide helpline numbers, including a crisis prevention center, base number, and website details. The girl dialed the number who landed in the office of the Inspector General.
“On January 3, I received a call from a girl on my public number, she was quite upset and was about to end her life, she told me that she had also searched how to kill herself on Google. And then in search result she found my number. I heard her out and told her to come to my office so we could talk about it in detail,” DIG Jitendra Kumar Shahi told TOI.
After that the girl was sent to a counselor.
The disappointed girl told her story to the police’s DIG who sent her to the counselor. She took two sessions of counseling and left the idea of suicide. Saved a life, thanks Google!
Although this is not the first time, Google has saved lives many times.
