And there are more in the pipeline
When launched in 2012, the Homegrown Lifestyle brand TheLabelLife.com immediately stood for the concept of a collection of curated collections by her celebrity-style editors Sussanne Khan, Malaika Arora, and Bipasha Basu. In the last six years, a stop shop is going for a handmade selection of fashion, statement accessories, home design and limited edition capsule lines.
After hosting a series of countrywide pop-ins from 2016 and offering home trials to the patrons in Mumbai, the brand is now fully committed to offline presence with its first store in Bandra, Mumbai. “When we started for the first time, the plan was to be strictly online, but we are a consumers-the first brand. It became clear that our buyers were willing to touch and feel the products before making their purchases. As we scaled, it was important to establish a physical connection, so we are here. Founder and CEO Preeta Sukhtankar says, “We are also developing a mobile shopping app.”
02 June Design Studio, which was led by Sankalp Sahu, was designed to design a two-story Mumbai store in which the city of the house of the label had a microscopic approval. The collection of stores is an extension of the expansion of their online exhibits, including advanced essentials, work wear, versatile isolation and gift giving. Says Sukhtankar., “The layout enables a guided shopping experience that looks perfectly styled together easily.”
The DLF Promenade closed on the high heel of this launch, has his second shop in New Delhi and there is a long-term pop-in at Curations Chandigarh. TheLabelLife.com has partnered with Project Eve for stores in 11 stores by the end of the year.
