Oppo will launch F9 Pro in India on Tuesday, August 21st. The company has produced a promotion for the upcoming smartphone in weeks and has also disclosed some important details about it in this process.
Oppo is not keeping the phone a secret, and it makes sense because F9 Pro does a very unique design. While F9 Pro will come to India next week, Oppo has already announced F9 in some places like Vietnam and the Philippines. Both phones are essentially identical with some subtle differences in the hardware.
Oppo F9 Pro will come with display cutout, but it’s a notch we’ve seen so far on most Android phones and iPhone Xs. The company is explaining its trademark VOOC Fast Charging support as well as its color options, and along with some hardware specifications, all of which are nearly identical to F9. Whatever Oppo has revealed, on the basis of previous rumors and official F9, the F9 Pro will be brought to the table.
No doubt that Oppo will highlight the design of F9 Pro as the device’s main USP. This Phone will come with what oppo called a waterdrop screen, which is a great way to say that the display will grow from the edge and will be immersive with a notch that is shaped as a droplet.
Unlike, what we have seen on most Android Phones in this year, Oppo is providing a notch which is quite unique from other Android phones. It keeps the compatibility of the phone, but OPPO has a small and less intrusive touch.
Slight notch and narrow chin will allow a lot of display on the phone. Oppo says that F9 Pro will come with a 90.8 percent screen-to-body ratio. Like the F9, the F9 Pro is expected to come with a 6.3-inch FHD + display with a 19.5: 9 aspect ratio.
OPPO F9 is the first smartphone to get the latest Gorilla Glass 6 security and we expect that the F9 Pro will also come with Glass. Qualcomm said that the new glass would survive at a height of up to 1 meter to 15 meters.
In addition to a unique display, F9 Pro will also come in some attractive color options. Oppo has revealed that the device will be offered in three colors – Starry Purple, Sunrise Red, and Twilight Blue. All three options have a gradient design, which means that you will see a combination of colors that will change depending on the angle and light. Apart from this, red and blue colors will also get back diamond-shaped patterns, while the purple color option will have a star-stud pattern to reflect the night sky.
Like the F9, the F9 Pro will be powered by an Octo-Core MediaTek Helio P60 chipset. The Ai battery management facility will also be included in OPPO. But the F4 has been announced with only 4 GB of RAM, OPPO has confirmed that the F9 Pro will get 64GB of internal storage with 6 GB of memory.
The notch of F9 Pro will hold 25 megapixel AI sensors, similar to Oppo F7 and F9. In addition, the camera sensor will support the company calling the HDR, which is a feature that is also available in Oppo F7.
Oppo has not yet released the specs of the camera behind the F9 Pro, but if the device is similar to F9, then we can consider 16 MP + 2MP configuration. The primary camera comes with the F / 1.9 aperture while the secondary camera will be used for deep sensing.
Oppo Super Fast Vooc is highlighting flash charge support, which will give talk time of 2 hours after 15 minutes of charge. This means that you should see the charging speed similar to the OnePlus Dash Charger. The phone will have 3,500 mAh battery.
