So, does this mean that your WhatsApp backup will be automatically deleted from Google Drive? The answer is not until you update your Whatsapp data manually.
Whatsapp Android users have to manually back up their WhatsApp data on Google Drive to avoid the loss of any WhatsApp data already present on your drive before November 12. To refresh the existing backup, you will need to back up before October 30, 2018.
Those messages that rely on the automatic backup option on the messaging platform will need to manually update to avoid being removed from the drive once before October 30.

Whatsapp Backup: Will my backups be automatically deleted from Google Drive?
No. Whitespace backups will not be automatically deleted on Google Drive, you will be manually updated before November 12. Users who want to refresh their existing backups will be updated before October 30 this year. This can be done from the settings menu of the Whatsapp app. Beginning on November 12 this year, the Drive Storage Quota will not be counted against a new agreement between the WhatsApp Backup Messaging Service and Google.
After manually updating before November 12, WhatsAppSwap will not be able to automatically delete backups on Google Drive.
Whatsapp Backup: How to back up data manually?
To back up WhatsApp data manually, open the Whatsapp app and tap the three dot menu on the top right. Select Settings> Chat> Chat Backup. To back up data on Google Drive, click on chat back up and tap Back up. Make sure you are logged into your Google account to save data on the drive. Users are advised to connect their phones to a power source because back-up can take longer depending on the data.

Whatsapp backup data can also be removed or removed from your Google Drive. To do this, you will need to visit the Google Drive website and log into your Google account.
