The fire brigade was taken to the spot and was successful in extinguishing the fire before it was badly damaged.
There was a fire near a tent in Kumbh Mela running in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. The reason for the fire in Hindustan Petroleum’s LPG refueling camp is being considered as leakage from the gas cylinder.

There was a fire in a camp on the Mukti Marg of Sector 15. The fire brigade was taken to the spot and the fire was overrun before the fire was damaged. However, one of the tents was burnt in the fire.
Fire fighting personnel have managed to safely carry more than 20 LPG cylinders out of the way.
This is the fifth incident of fire in Kumbh Mela.
On Saturday evening there was a fire in a tent in Sector 13 area. However, the fire was immediately flare-up.
Under the measures to combat the disaster-related risks of fire, the management had said that utilization of modern and innovative fire fighting equipment has been utilized.
It has also claimed that a standard operating procedure has been prepared for better efficiency of mitigation strategies.
Disaster Management Facilities have also been set up along with a dedicated team of doctors and paramedical staff in case of burn injuries, drowning, stampedes etc with a special kit.
